5P Scholarship by Arsjad Rasjid

The 5P Global Movement had the opportunity to launch the 5P Scholarship by Arsjad Rasjid, in collaboration with two of Indonesia’s top universities, Hasanuddin University and Padjajaran University. The 5P Scholarship by Arsjad Rasjid is a scholarship program awarded to the top 5 students from each of these universities. The primary goal of this scholarship is to provide broad access to higher education for underprivileged but high-achieving students.

The selection process for the 5P Scholarship was held from June 15 to July 10, 2024, with a total of 444 applicants from various faculties and study programs, and an acceptance rate of 2.5%. Several stages of the selection process were conducted, including a motivation letter, achievement certificates, and an interview process led by the 5P Global Movement in collaboration with the universities.

In addition to having their tuition fees covered for 8 semesters (4 years), the selected students will also benefit from soft skills development training, provided by experts in their respective fields. These soft skills trainings include Public Speaking, Problem Solving, Leadership, Foreign Language Proficiency, and more.

The scholarship was symbolically awarded at both universities during the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students event, held on August 12 & 14, 2024, and was presented directly by Arsjad Rasjid, who is also the Co-Founder of 5P Global Movement.
